To accompany the exhibition Making Space as Matrix, we offer selections from The New School Archives to shed light on feminist and queer pedagogical legacies at Parsons School of Design. This genealogy outlines how intergenerational queer and feminist alliances have enriched Parsons and made it a haven for radical inclusion
Matrix Feminist Design Co-operative, as a labor
organization, was dedicated to learning and teaching
building trades such as masonry and carpentry, and
promoting more women in the construction industry.
